IMPORTANT NOTICE: KEEP ORIGINAL PACKAGING MATERIALS
Please retain the original packaging materials to ensure safe transportation during warranty service.
1. Relationship and Applicability
This “Warranty” is an integral part of Carvemate Machines Inc ‘s “Terms and Conditions” and is incorporated into that agreement by reference. Your acceptance of this policy shall be deemed an acceptance of all terms within the “Terms and Conditions”.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the Governing Law and Jurisdiction provisions set forth in the “Terms and Conditions”. Any dispute resolution, limitation of liability, and other legal interpretations related to this policy shall be administered pursuant to the corresponding clauses in the “Terms and Conditions”.
2. Scope and Duration of Warranty
Carvemate Machines Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Carvemate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) warrants that the Carvemate CNC Machines and other products sold by Carvemate Machines Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Products”) are free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the original date of receipt, when used in accordance with the applicable user’s Manual.
Warranty Coverage:
This warranty covers the primary hardware components of the products.
Exclusions: Consumable cutting tools (e.g., bits, drills) are not covered.
Warranty service is limited to repairing the products with new or refurbished parts for defects in materials or workmanship, or, at our sole discretion, replacing the defective products with a new or refurbished products of equal or greater value.
Warranty service may require you to install replacement parts provided by Carvemate or, at our sole discretion, to return the products to our designated address for warranty service. You agree to obtain service through these methods.
Warranty Transferability:
This warranty is transferable with the resale of the product and applies to any lawful owner who purchases or receives the products within the original warranty period, provided the original proof of purchase is presented.
Additional Warranty for Repaired or Replaced Parts:
Parts or products repaired or replaced under this warranty will carry an additional warranty period of 90 days from the date of repair or replacement, or the remainder of the original warranty period, whichever is longer.
Special Policy Statement:
If a specific product or promotional activity explicitly states an different warranty period, staged warranty extension, or other special warranty policy (collectively, a “Special Policy”), the terms of that Special Policy’s public statement shall prevail and supersede the corresponding provisions of this Limited Warranty.
Out-of-Warranty Repair Support:
After the warranty period expires, Carvemate will continue to provide repair parts. Customers may replace parts themselves following our provided instructions or, at the customer’s request, have Carvemate perform the repairs.
3. Warranty Exclusions and Voidance
This warranty does not cover repairs for the following conditions:
- Products used for excessive industrial purposes.
- Damage resulting from improper or inadequate maintenance or care.
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents.
- Damage resulting from normal wear and tear (normal wear and tear includes, but is not limited to, natural aging or degradation of components due to regular use).
- Damage incurred during user-initiated transportation (non-warranty-related moving or transfer).
- Damage incurred during assembly or maintenance.
- Damage resulting from repairs performed by unauthorized third parties.
Warranty Voidance:
This warranty will be void, and no warranty coverage will be provided, if any of the following occurs:
- Installation of firmware on the products not issued or authorized by Carvemate.
- Any alteration or modification to the electronics or computer components of the products.
- Attachment of peripherals or accessories to the electronics or computer components of the products that are not issued or authorized by Carvemate.
- Removal or alteration of the products’ serial number.
4. Obtaining Warranty Service
Requesting Warranty Service:
To request warranty service, first contact us via email, providing your order number, contact information, and a brief description of the issue.
Our team will contact you via email to conduct a preliminary warranty diagnosis. You may be required to provide photos and/or videos of the claimed defect.
We will determine whether your products qualifies for warranty repair based on the diagnosis.
Purchase Verification:
Repair or replacement under this warranty is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase, confirmed by presenting the original sales receipt with the product model number.
Return for Repair:
If return for repair is required, we will notify you and provide a prepaid shipping label to send the machine to our designated address.
Please use the original packaging materials or and strictly follow our provided packaging instructions to ensure safe transportation.
Software Support:
During the warranty period and beyond, we will provide software updates or fixes to address technical issues with the products. Updates will be provided through our official website or via email notifications.
5. Shipping, Liability, and Costs
Shipping Liability:
If you use the original packaging materials and follow our provided packaging instructions, Carvemate will assume liability for damage during shipping.
If you fail to use the original packaging materials or follow the provided instructions, you will be solely responsible for any damage during shipping.
Costs:
For valid warranty repairs, Carvemate will cover the costs of repair or replacement, including materials and labor, as well as shipping to and from our repair center (excluding import costs) via a prepaid shipping label.
Carvemate will not assume responsibility for shipping costs incurred from unconfirmed returns.
If the machine does not qualify for warranty repair, you will be responsible for all repair and shipping costs, which will be charged to the provided credit card.
Customers are responsible for all costs related to out-of-warranty repairs, including but not limited to parts, labor, shipping, import costs, and other associated handling fees.
Import Costs:
You are solely responsible for all shipping and handling fees incurred when returning the products to us, including but not limited to Value Added Tax (VAT), import duties, applicable taxes, and other related charges (including but not limited to brokerage fees and storage fees, collectively referred to as “Import Costs”). Carvemate will not assume any responsibility for payments related to Import Costs.
6. Acceptance of Terms and Limitation of Liability
This warranty provides repair or replacement as the exclusive remedy for defective products. By purchasing the products, you are deemed to have accepted this condition.
Limitation of Liability:
Carvemate, its directors, officers, employees, agents, consultants, licensors, and third-party suppliers shall not be liable for any incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any costs, attorney fees, expenses, losses, delays, or other consequences alleged to result from any damage to, failure of, or defect in the product, including but not limited to claims for loss of profits.
This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other express or implied warranties, whether written or oral. To the extent permitted by law, Carvemate disclaims any implied warranties, including but not limited to IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Where such disclaimers are not permitted by law, the duration of such implied warranties is limited to the duration of this warranty.
Under Canadian laws, such as the Consumer Protection Act, some jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty grants you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by province.
